Spring is here. But millions of cats are suffering. One in three cats is at risk to develop chronic kidney disease (CKD) in its lifetime. Unfortunately, CKD may be present despite no obvious signs. The earliest signs typically include increased drinking and urination. More severe symptoms develop later and can eventually lead to kidney failure and death. Our practice is now screening cats for an important clinical trial to evaluate an investigational medication to manage CKD in cats, so that they might live healthier lives. Participation is free! If your cat has been diagnosed with CKD or is a senior cat, visit www.CatsWithKidneyDisease.com for more information. Contact us right away if you believe your cat is eligible.
